The Folium Diary

In this diary I will be recording my impressions of a new program called The Folium, which will "synthesize planetary biometry, creating an experience beyond artificial intelligence, and bring the benefits of the Earth's collective wisdom to everyone, everywhere, all the time." If that sounds wildly ambitious and kinda crazy, you're in the right place!

Welcome to the Folium Sock Contest. The prizes are $50 digital gift certificates to The Athletic Community, home of the famous PDX carpet sock (as worn by Cherie Hazzard!)

To enter:

Solve the puzzle and text us your answer and email address
To text, go to our homepage, select any episode and click the link that says 'Folium Fan Mail' (link should also work from most podcast apps)
Entries must be sent by 9PM Pacific, Friday, January 9th
Seven winners will be randomly selected from the correct entries
Winners will be contacted by email
Results will be published on Sunday the 11th

Quel added a bonus puzzle for informatics enthusiasts. If you solve it, add QUEL to your message and you'll be contacted for the answer. Get it right and you might be offered a job as her new assistant!

The Folium CEO graciously agreed to answer questions about The Folium. Submit your inquiries via Fan Mail by the 9th, and we will respond to as many as we can on the 11th.
